Operations Financial Analyst

• Take the lead in analysing, reporting, and addressing departmental variances to budget/forecast.
• Analyse key vendor spend and identify opportunities for savings.
• Lead reporting, analysis, and forecasting of for selected expenses for the organization.
• Monitor and report Capital expenditure for the organization assisting with ROI analysis as needed.
• Produce monthly performance reports for operational teams, communicating results to Senior Leadership.
• Analyse headcount related expenses with special attention to volume, rate and mix drivers.
• Act as a vital member of the Financial Planning and Analysis team, reporting directly to the VP of Financial Planning & Analysis.

• Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or Statistics
• Strong EXCEL skills and experience in data warehouse queries
• Proficient in Microsoft applications
• Detail-oriented, organized, with excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Previous experience in an FP&A role
• Familiarity with the mortgage industry and mortgage servicing or sub-servicing
• Experience or transferable skills leveraging digital tools such as Power BI, SQL with demonstrated ability to succinctly analyse large amounts of data
