Role Overview

The Operations Lead is responsible for ensuring operational excellence across the talent-matching ecosystem — driving high Initial Match Quality (IMQ) and optimizing end-to-end marketplace performance.


This role owns the talent-demand matching process , ensuring that the right talent is connected to the right opportunities with speed, accuracy, and quality. The Lead will establish and manage SOPs and SLAs that define cross-functional workflows between Sales, Operations, and Customer Success, ensuring accountability, consistency, and service excellence across every transaction.


The Operations Lead will also design and maintain a robust quality control and audit framework , conducting regular process reviews to identify inefficiencies, compliance gaps, and opportunities for improvement. By collaborating with key teams, they will proactively implement corrective and preventive actions to uphold the highest operational and regulatory standards.


Ultimately, this role acts as the guardian of marketplace quality — ensuring precision in matching, consistency in execution, and excellence in customer and talent experience.



Key Responsibilities

  • Owning the Talent’s Initial Match Quality
  • Owning the talent matching process - matching the right supply with the demand
  • Identifying the leakages in the processes and building an operational excellence infrastructure
  • Structuring SOPs & SLAs for sales <> operational tasks & tickets
  • Owning SLAs for Talent Matching
  • Establish quality control standards and procedures to maintain consistency and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess adherence to quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to implement corrective actions and preventive measures to address quality issues proactively.


Experience & Qualifications

  • Prior experience in Sales operations, Operations, supply operations, marketplace operations in tech start-ups/marketplaces
  • Good communication & stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with data-based decision making
  • Experience in churn reduction strategy and initiatives
  • Experience owning processes optimization
  • Experience in building & delivering on SOPs & SLAs across the teams
  • 3+ years of working experience
  • Bachelors’ degree from a reputed institution
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Excel/Google Sheets is required
