1. National Warehousing & Logistics Operations
- Oversee daily operations of all fulfilment centers located across India (Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Delhi, Hyderabad, and other locations).
- Ensure smooth execution of inbound, QC, put-away, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns processes.
- Ensure all orders (B2B, B2C, D2C, marketplaces) are completed within defined CPT/SLAs without breaches.
- Manage stock transfers between warehouses and bulk movement to/from marketplace warehouses.
- Ensure physical inventory matches system inventory at all times.
2. Supply Chain, Logistics & 3PL Management
- Manage national supply chain operations including primary and secondary freight, vehicle arrangement, and transporter coordination.
- Engage and manage 3PL partners for warehousing and fulfilment (B2B & B2C).
- Negotiate rates, contracts, SLAs, and commercial terms with logistics partners and transporters.
- Monitor SLA adherence, performance metrics, escalations, and continuous improvement with logistics vendors.
- Handle reconciliations related to freight invoices, weight discrepancies, and billing anomalies.
- Optimize freight and warehousing costs through efficient planning and vendor management.
- Coordinate with transporters for B2B deliveries, POD collection, and issue resolution.
- Manage national supply chain operations including freight planning, vehicle arrangement, and transporter coordination.
- Optimize freight costs through negotiation and efficient route and load planning.
- Coordinate with transporters for B2B deliveries, POD collection, and issue resolution.
- Handle import and domestic logistics requirements in coordination with internal teams and partners.
3. Process, SOP, Compliance & Automation
- Design, document, and implement SOPs for B2B, B2C, D2C, marketplace, and 3PL operations.
- Drive process standardization and best practices across all warehouses.
- Propose and implement workflow automations to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs, safety standards, audit requirements, and statutory compliances.
- Conduct regular audits including inventory, process, safety, and compliance audits.
- Ensure proper handling of C-returns, vendor returns, liquidation of unsellable goods, and repackaging activities.
- Understand existing processes and design, document, and implement SOPs across warehouses.
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs, policies, audit requirements, and statutory compliances.
- Conduct regular audit checks through systems, reports, cycle counts, and physical verification.
- Ensure proper handling of C-returns, vendor returns, liquidation of unsellable goods, and repackaging activities.
4. Financial & Cost Control (P&L Ownership)
- Monitor and control warehouse-level expenses and logistics costs.
- Own and manage P&L for warehousing and logistics operations.
- Track, analyze, and act on cost variances and red-flagged transactions raised by HO.
- Manage petty cash balances, vouchers, and physical documentation at warehouses.
5. Inventory & Quality Control
- Ensure daily cycle counts and periodic physical inventories are conducted.
- Resolve discrepancies related to stock count, quality, damages, or dispatch errors.
- Oversee labeling, packaging material usage, combo preparation, and private label packaging initiatives.
- Support vendors in inspection of unsellable or damaged goods.
6. People & Vendor Management
- Manage warehouse manpower including on-roll employees, contract staff, and daily wage workers.
- Negotiate and manage manpower contractors and service providers.
- Supervise security staff, guards, and facility-related personnel.
- Ensure adequate staffing, productivity, discipline, and compliance at all locations.
7. Cross-Functional Coordination & Communication
- Act as a bridge between Head Office and warehouse teams.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as sales, e-commerce, finance, marketing, suppliers, and customer service teams.
- Handle escalations and provide timely updates to senior management.
- Ensure clear, professional, and effective communication via emails, reports, and meetings.
8. Systems & Reporting
- Ensure accurate and timely entries in OMS, WMS, internal systems, trackers, and Excel-based MIS.
- Prepare and review operational, inventory, and cost reports.
- Use Excel tools (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas) for analysis and reporting.
- Maintain all physical and digital documentation as per company standards.
9. Expansion & Strategic Initiatives
- Lead opening, shutting, relocation, and scaling of warehouses and logistics locations.
- Support new business verticals, private label initiatives, and packaging innovations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in business management, operations management, or a related field (Master's degree
- preferred).
- Proven experience in operations management or a related role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in using operational software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
