Driven by our purpose, to safeguard life, property, and the environment, we empower our customers and their stakeholders with facts and reliable insights so that critical decisions can be made with confidence.As a trusted voice for many of the world’s most successful organizations, we use our knowledge to advance safety and performance, set industry benchmarks, and inspire and invent solutions to tackle global transformations.DNV Inspection in Oman is seeking for an Operations Manager who is accountable for full P&L management, business growth, client engagement, operational delivery, and In-Country Value (ICV) performance.The role is focused on onshore Oil & Gas, gas processing, LNG-related infrastructure, pipelines, and EPC-led projects, with strong emphasis on National Oil Companies, government-linked entities, EPC contractors, and long-term framework clients operating in Oman.Key Responsibilities1. P&L Ownership & Financial PerformanceHold full P&L accountability for DNV Inspection operations in Oman.Develop and execute annual business plans and budgets aligned with Middle East regional targets.Drive revenue growth, margin protection, and cost discipline.Monitor financial performance closely and take corrective actions where required.2. Business Development & Client Focus (Oman)Own and execute the country growth strategy, with clear focus on:National Oil Companies and government-linked entitiesExisting long-term and framework clientsMajor EPC contractors delivering onshore projectsStrengthen and expand relationships across:Onshore Oil & Gas fields and facilitiesGas processing plants, pipelines, and LNG-related onshore infrastructureBrownfield modifications, integrity programs, and shutdown/turnaround scopesEnsure DNV Inspection is positioned early in client planning and tendering cycles, particularly where ICV commitments are evaluated.3. ICV & Omanisation Take direct ownership of In-Country Value (ICV) and Omanisation performance for DNV Inspection in Oman.Ensure compliance with:Client-specific ICV requirementsNational Omanisation targetsContractual and regulatory expectationsDevelop and implement practical Omanisation plans, including:Recruitment and development of Omani talentProgressive localisation of inspection and coordination rolesKnowledge transfer and competency developmentWork closely with clients and authorities to demonstrate credible, measurable ICV contribution.Ensure ICV commitments are realistic, deliverable, and aligned with business sustainability.4. Key Account Management & Market IntelligenceAct as the primary executive interface for key clients in Oman.Maintain strong awareness of:Upcoming onshore developments and EPC packagesContract renewals, extensions, and call-off opportunitiesClient procurement, ICV scoring models, and decision-making processesUse market intelligence to prioritise pursuits and resource allocation.5. Operational Delivery & ExecutionEnsure safe, compliant, and high-quality execution of inspection services across Oman.Oversee:Resource mobilisation and utilisationProject execution and schedulingResolution of client issues and escalationsEnsure delivery commitments are aligned with available capability and local resource availability, including Omanised resources.Coordinate closely with:Middle East Area ManagerTechnical and discipline leadsCompliance & Governance6. Local Leadership & Organisation DevelopmentProvide strong leadership to the Oman organisation, promoting:Performance accountabilityProfessional developmentAlignment with DNV valuesBuild a stable, competent local organisation, with clear succession and development pathways for Omani staff.Ensure compliance with local labour laws and employment frameworks.7. Governance, Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure full compliance with:DNV Group governance and ethicsAccreditation and independence requirementsOmani regulatory, contractual, and labour obligationsProactively manage commercial, contractual, delivery, and reputational risks.Act as the local custodian of DNV Inspection’s reputation in Oman.8. Regional & Internal CollaborationWork closely with:Middle East Area ManagerOthe Operations Managers in Middle EastProposal, Resource Management, and Technical functionsSupport regional collaboration and resource sharing where appropriate.Contribute to regional planning, performance reviews, and strategic discussions.

- About you: Qualifications & ExperienceEssentialOmani national, with strong credibility in the local market.Senior leadership experience in inspection, TIC, energy services, or EPC-related environments.Proven P&L management experience.Strong exposure to onshore Oil & Gas and EPC-driven projects.Demonstrated experience with ICV / Omanisation requirements and delivery.Established network with NOCs, government entities, and EPCs in Oman.Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).Strong commercial, negotiation, and leadership capability.Highly DesirableExperience managing long-term framework contracts and call-off models.Familiarity with gas processing, pipelines, and LNG-related onshore infrastructure.Experience operating within a regional or matrix organisation.Leadership ProfileStrong local credibility and stakeholder trustCommercially disciplined and delivery-focusedICV-driven, pragmatic, and realisticClear communicator in Arabic and EnglishHigh integrity aligned with DNV values
