Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in the steel/metal industry to oversee end-to-end operations. The role involves managing production, supply chain, and team performance while ensuring efficiency, cost control, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Management
- Oversee end-to-end operations including production, supply chain, and logistics
- Ensure smooth coordination between departments for uninterrupted workflow
- Monitor daily operations and implement process improvements
Efficiency & Cost Optimization
- Drive operational efficiency and productivity improvements
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource utilization
- Monitor KPIs and performance metrics
Team Leadership
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams
- Set performance targets and ensure team accountability
- Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations
Safety & Quality
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Maintain quality standards across production processes
- Conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions
Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare operational reports and present updates to management
- Coordinate with stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teams
- Address operational challenges and implement solutions
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in the steel or metal industry
- Strong background in operations, production, and supply chain management
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
