Job Title: Operations Officer
Job Type: Full time, On-site
Location: Gulberg 3, Lahore
Shifts: UK/Ireland Calendar
Working hours: 48 hours per week
Salary Range: 40,000 – 50,000
Position Overview
As an Operations & Compliance Officer you'll monitor real-time customer and transaction data, investigate alerts, and ensure compliance with AML/KYC regulations—gaining hands-on experience and helping safeguard our fast-paced, tech driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sanctions & Name Screening:
Use automated systems to screen new customers, transactions, and counterparties against global watchlists. Investigate and resolve hits, escalating true positives to senior officers.
Alert Investigation & Reporting:
Analyse alerts for suspicious activity. Determine which alerts require escalation, document investigations meticulously, and generate internal reports or SARs for high risk cases.
Support AML/KYC Procedures:
Assist in customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) processes. Maintain accurate records in case management systems. Help maintain and optimize screening procedures and SOPs. Provide input to refine screening tool efficiency. Work closely with Compliance, Risk, Product, and IT teams. Participate in system tuning and user acceptance testing. Attend regular training on AML regulations, screening platforms, and fraud prevention strategies. Support peer-awareness initiatives.

Qualifications Education:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Law, Economics, or a related field.
Experience:
Ideal for fresh graduates—0–1 years, internships or exposure to AML, KYC, fraud prevention are a plus
Knowledge & Skills:
· Basic understanding of AML, sanctions, KYC, and financial crime prevention.
· Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
· Effective written and verbal communication able to document investigations clearly.
· Tech-savvy with proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and willingness to learn screening platforms.
