Operations & Supply Chain Controller (E-commerce) – Remote

Our client, a rapidly growing international e-commerce company, is looking for a highly structured and detail-oriented Operations & Supply Chain Controller to ensure smooth, accurate, and efficient operations across systems, warehouses, and markets. If you excel at maintaining operational clarity, solving logistical issues, and keeping data clean and reliable, this role is an excellent fit.

Key Responsibilities

E-commerce Operations & Inventory Control (30%)

• Oversee daily order processing (Magento, Webshipper, Amazon FBA)
• Monitor inventory levels across multiple warehouses (EU, Australia, Amazon FBA)
• Coordinate with 3PL partners to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
• Investigate and resolve order discrepancies, stock mismatches, and operational issues

Operations Controlling & Finance (30%)

• Verify supplier invoices, logistics costs, and stock-related expenses
• Control inventory value to ensure alignment between ERP data and financial records
• Perform monthly reconciliations between ERP ↔ General Ledger ↔ 3PL
• Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to diagnose inconsistencies and support invoice verification

Supply Chain Planning & Forecasting (30%)

• Analyze sales and demand trends to forecast stock requirements
• Plan shipments and production to avoid stockouts or excess inventory
• Support logistics planning for new product launches and market expansions
• Maintain strong communication with suppliers, freight partners, and warehouses

Product Information & Master Data (10%)

• Maintain accurate product master data across ERP, Magento, Amazon
• Ensure correct weights, HS codes, translations, and product attributes
• Support PIM processes and improve data quality across platforms

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, or e-commerce controlling
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills
• Familiarity with Magento, ERP systems (e.g., Uniconta), Amazon FBA, or similar
• Highly structured, detail-oriented, and committed to accuracy
• Clear communication skills for coordinating with suppliers, warehouses, and finance
• Comfortable using AI tools to debug operational issues and streamline workflows
• Fluent in English; additional languages such as German, Danish, or Chinese are a plus
