The Warehouse Operations Team Leader is responsible for supervising daily warehouse activities, ensuring accurate and timely receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods. They lead and support warehouse associates to achieve productivity, quality, and safety targets while maintaining high standards of inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and service excellence.

  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and put-away
  • Lead and support warehouse associates to meet productivity, quality, and service targets
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Enforce safety rules and promote a safe working environment
  • Train, coach, and onboard new team members
  • Support inventory control activities such as cycle counts and discrepancy resolution
  • Monitor system transactions using WMS/RF scanners and report operational issues
  • Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and escalate operational risks


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of warehouse or distribution experience
  • Previous experience in a team leader or senior warehouse role preferred
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and safety practices
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanners
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
