Oracle Database Administrator

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases and related infrastructure on Linux or cloud servers.
• Automate database backups, patching, cloning, and recovery processes using Shell/Python scripts, RMAN, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Build and manage deployment pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab/GitHub Actions) to automate application releases and SQL/PL-SQL script deployments.
• Monitor and optimize both infrastructure and database performance using AWR, ADDM, OEM, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools.
• Configure and manage Oracle Data Guard, RAC/ASM for high availability and disaster recovery along with automated failover scripts.
• Manage infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform/Ansible) for provisioning servers, storage, network, and Oracle environments.
• Containerize database tools or applications using Docker and maintain Kubernetes clusters (if applicable) for seamless deployment & scaling.
• Implement database and server-level security, including firewalls, encryption (TDE), SSL certificates, role-based access, and secrets management.
• Manage cloud and on-premise environments (AWS), including provisioning compute, storage, and database instances.
• Automate system monitoring, log management, alerts, and health checks across servers and databases.
• Troubleshoot database performance issues, application deployment failures, and infrastructure bottlenecks end-to-end.
• Ensure full backup strategy, disaster recovery, version control, infrastructure documentation, and compliance with IT policies.
• Manages database installation, tuning, security, backup & disaster recovery
• Automates deployments, infrastructure, and monitoring using CI/CD and scripting
• Works with cloud/on-prem environments, Docker/Kubernetes, Terraform/Ansible
• Ensures performance, availability, and compliance across IT systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per month
