Oracle Developer (ERP Software)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Database Development & Management

· Design, develop, and maintain databases using Oracle Database

· Create tables, views, indexes, and sequences for ERP modules

· Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security

2. PL/SQL Development

  • Write and optimize stored procedures, functions, and triggers using PL/SQL
  • Develop packages for complex business logic
  • Tune SQL queries for performance optimization

ERP Module Support & Customization

· Develop and customize ERP modules (Finance, HR, Procurement, Inventory)

· Work with systems like Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Fusion Applications

· Implement business rules and workflows

4. Data Integration & Migration

  • Integrate ERP with third-party systems via APIs and interfaces
  • Perform data migration, ETL processes, and data validation
  • Work with tools like Oracle Data Integrator

5. Performance Tuning & Optimization

· Analyze slow queries and improve database performance

· Use indexing, partitioning, and query optimization techniques

· Monitor system performance and resolve bottlenecks

6. Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop dynamic reports using HTML,CSS,JS
  • Generate financial and operational reports for ERP users

7. Testing & Debugging

· Perform unit testing and support UAT (User Acceptance Testing)

· Troubleshoot database-related issues and bugs

8. Documentation & Support

  • Maintain technical documentation for database structures and code
  • Provide support for production systems and end users

Job Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

· 2–6+ years of experience in Oracle development

· Experience in ERP environments is highly preferred

· Strong experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL

· Database design and normalization

· Query optimization and performance tuning

· Familiarity with ERP workflows (Finance, HR, Supply Chain)

· Experience with Oracle ERP systems (EBS or Fusion)

· Knowledge of APIs, web services, and data exchange formats

· Understanding of ETL processes

· Relational Database

· Data Normalization

· Oracle SQL Developer / TOAD

· Version control systems (e.g., TFS)

· Reporting tools

· Analytical and problem-solving skills

· Attention to detail

· Communication with functional teams (finance, HR, etc.)

· Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional)

· Experience in large-scale ERP implementations

· Knowledge of cloud platforms (Oracle Cloud)
