Oracle Testing

Key Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end testing of Oracle applications (Oracle ERP, HCM, SCM, Financials, etc.) to ensure business requirements are met.
• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts (manual & automation where applicable).
• Validate Oracle modules such as Finance, Procurement, Order Management, Inventory, HRMS, and Payroll.
• Perform integration testing with third-party systems and interfaces.
• Identify, log, and track defects to closure using defect management tools (JIRA, HP ALM, or equivalent).
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and functional consultants to understand requirements and resolve issues.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide documentation for stakeholders.
• Ensure testing compliance with TESCO quality standards and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle ERP/HCM/SCM testing (depending on module).
• Good understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and/or Oracle Fusion Cloud.
• Experience in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation.
• Proficiency in defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, Quality Center).
• Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium, OATS (Oracle Application Testing Suite), or UFT is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with onsite/offshore teams.

Good to Have

• ISTQB or equivalent certification.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
