Job Title: Order Taker

Location: EL Momento Lahore

Reports To: Restaurant Manager

Job Summary:

The Order Taker is responsible for receiving and processing customer orders accurately and efficiently whether over the phone, in person, or online while providing excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive customer orders via phone, in person, or online platforms.
  • Accurately record orders into the system or order sheet.
  • Confirm order details, delivery address, and payment method.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff or dispatch teams to ensure timely order preparation and delivery.
  • Provide menu information and suggest promotions or upsell items where appropriate.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Monitor order progress and follow up on delayed orders.
  • Keep daily order logs and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and service standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum education: Intermediate or equivalent.
  • Prior experience as an order taker, receptionist, or call center agent preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge (POS system familiarity is a plus).
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Polite, patient, and detail-oriented.
