Order Taker

Job Description:

  • Accurately take and record orders from guests, including special requests and modifications.
  • Ensure orders are fulfilled correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Verify orders with guests to ensure accuracy before serving.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to guest inquiries and requests.
  • Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction with ordering experience.
  • Engage with guests to build rapport and promote a positive experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized order taking area.
  • Process orders efficiently to minimize wait times.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth order fulfillment.

Education & Experience:

  • Intermediate in Arts / Secondary in Arts
  • 2 to 3 years of relavant work & Industry Experience (Hotel & Restaurant).

Essential Technical Skills:

  • Menu Knowledge: Good knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and pricing
  • Order Management: Ability to manage orders efficiently, including special requests and modifications

Essential Behavioral Competencies:

  • Customer Focus: Ability to provide excellent customer service and ensure guest satisfaction
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately take and record orders, including special requests and modifications
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact with guests, kitchen staff, and other team members
