OT Manager / Senior OT Technician

ey Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage day-to-day operations of the Operating Theatres.
• Ensure availability and functionality of all OT equipment, instruments, and supplies.
• Coordinate OT schedules with surgeons, anesthetists, nursing staff, and support teams.
• Lead and guide OT technicians and support staff to ensure adherence to protocols and standards.
• Maintain strict compliance with infection control, sterilization, and safety guidelines.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the supply chain/pharmacy for timely replenishment.
• Assist during surgical procedures when required.
• Prepare and maintain OT-related documentation, logs, and reports.
• Handle staff rostering, training, and performance supervision.
• Ensure smooth functioning during emergencies and critical cases.
• Practical experience in assisting surgical teams, including extensive expertise in Laparoscopic Surgery.
• Involves supervising OT staff, coordinating infection control, managing OT inventory, and leading emergency/crash teams etc.

Qualifications & Experience:

• BScN, Post RN, Diploma in OT from Sindh Medical Faculty (or equivalent).
• Minimum 8–10 years of OT experience in a reputable hospital.
• Experience in a supervisory or senior OT role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OT protocols, infection control, and surgical equipment.
