ey Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage day-to-day operations of the Operating Theatres.
- Ensure availability and functionality of all OT equipment, instruments, and supplies.
- Coordinate OT schedules with surgeons, anesthetists, nursing staff, and support teams.
- Lead and guide OT technicians and support staff to ensure adherence to protocols and standards.
- Maintain strict compliance with infection control, sterilization, and safety guidelines.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the supply chain/pharmacy for timely replenishment.
- Assist during surgical procedures when required.
- Prepare and maintain OT-related documentation, logs, and reports.
- Handle staff rostering, training, and performance supervision.
- Ensure smooth functioning during emergencies and critical cases.
- Practical experience in assisting surgical teams, including extensive expertise in Laparoscopic Surgery.
- Involves supervising OT staff, coordinating infection control, managing OT inventory, and leading emergency/crash teams etc.
Qualifications & Experience:
- BScN, Post RN, Diploma in OT from Sindh Medical Faculty (or equivalent).
- Minimum 8–10 years of OT experience in a reputable hospital.
- Experience in a supervisory or senior OT role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of OT protocols, infection control, and surgical equipment.
