Clinica Sabah Speciality Hospital is a leading healthcare facility in Dubai, providing advanced surgical and medical services with a focus on excellence, patient care, and innovation. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled OT Nurse to join our surgical team and contribute to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Job Summary:
The OT Nurse will be responsible for assisting surgeons during operations, preparing and maintaining the sterile field, ensuring patient safety, and coordinating with the surgical team before, during, and after procedures. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room, surgical instruments, and supplies prior to procedures.
• Verify patient identity, surgical site, and procedure details before surgery.
• Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments, sponges, and other sterile supplies.
• Maintain strict aseptic techniques to prevent infection.
• Monitor patient’s vital signs and comfort throughout the procedure.
• Handle and care for surgical specimens as per hospital policy.
• Ensure surgical instruments are cleaned, sterilized, and properly stored after use.
• Document nursing care provided and maintain accurate patient records.
• Collaborate with anesthetists, surgeons, and other medical professionals to ensure smooth workflow.
• Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient care.

Requirements:

• Valid DHA license or eligibility as a Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an OT Nurse in a hospital setting.
• Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, and aseptic techniques.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
