OT Nurse- Nauru Deploment

Nauru Medical Centre is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Operating Room Nurse to join our surgical team. In this vital role, you will assist in the preparation, execution, and post-operative care of patients undergoing surgical procedures. You’ll work closely with surgeons, anesthetists, and fellow nursing staff to ensure a safe and efficient operating environment.

Location: Nauru

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room and instruments for surgery
• Assist during surgical procedures as a scrub or circulating nurse
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and surgical status
• Maintain sterile techniques and ensure proper infection control
• Provide post-operative care and documentation
• Support surgical team to deliver excellent patient outcomes

Key Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with current practicing certificate
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a perioperative or surgical nursing role
• Operating Room/Theatre experience essential
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay calm under pressure
• BLS/ACLS certification (preferred or required, depending on region)
