OT Nurse - Plastic Surgery

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Operating Theatre (OT) Nurse specializing in Plastic Surgery, based in Bengaluru. The OT Nurse will assist in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care in plastic surgery cases. Key responsibilities include preparing the operating room, conducting surgical counts, ensuring the sterility and availability of instruments, monitoring patient safety and comfort, and effectively communicating with the surgical team throughout the procedure. Additionally, the OT Nurse will participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold high standards of patient care.

• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, particularly in plastic surgery, as well as preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing.
• Proficiency in maintaining sterility, managing surgical instruments, and ensuring adherence to infection control protocols.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and patient interaction skills.
• Ability to monitor and manage patient safety, vital signs, and comfort during surgical procedures.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) or GNM qualification, with a valid nursing license.
• Previous experience working as an OT Nurse, especially in plastic surgery, is highly preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing perioperative care and documentation.
