Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Sales Representative to join our trading company, specializing in FMCG disposable products (such as paper cups, plastic containers, tissues, gloves, etc.). The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of the Oman market, a strong network of B2B clients, and the drive to grow our market presence across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share of disposable FMCG products in Oman.
  • Identify new business opportunities with supermarkets, HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafés), wholesalers, and retailers.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and distributors.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Conduct regular field visits to customers and potential leads throughout Oman.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and logistics to ensure on-time product delivery.
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close deals.
  • Provide after-sales support and resolve customer queries efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and market feedback.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in FMCG, specifically in disposable products (e.g., paper goods, hygiene items, packaging, etc.).
  • Deep knowledge of the Oman market, including buyer behavior, pricing, and competitors.
  • Established network of clients in Oman within retail, wholesale, or HORECA sectors.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel within Oman as needed.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with a trading company handling imports and distribution.
  • Familiarity with Oman’s import regulations and product registration (if applicable).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the FMCG sector.
