Outdoor salesman

1. Contact potential customers at hospitals, clinics, doctors' offices, rehab facilities, and nursing homes to sell products and equipment;

2. Arrange appointments with the customers, doctors and hospital medical teams;

3. Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or talks with customers;

4. Perform product demonstrations, installations, and application support;

5. Estimate time and date of delivery;

6. Stay informed about the activities of health services in a particular area;

7. Evaluating customers needs and building productive long lasting relationships;

8. Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory;9. Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service;

10. Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires;

11. Describe merchandise and explain use and operation, provide information about warranties, manufacturing specification, care and maintenance of product

12. Stay up to date with merchandise, especially new products;

13. Manage point-of-sale processes;

14. Examine products being purchased for damages, expiration and product accuracy inside the packaging;
