As the Outreach Engagement Specialist at GE Vernova, you will be at the forefront of strengthening our efforts to reach and attract top talent across critical functions and geographies. In this dynamic role, you will help expand our talent pipeline by building strategic community partnerships, collaborating with the Global Culture & Inclusion team, and promoting employer brand to engage individuals at various stages of the candidate journey. This role will report directly to the Talent Attraction Leader and will focus on amplifying employee voices and stories, managing campaigns, and building meaningful partnerships to enhance our recruitment capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:

Partner with the Global Culture & Inclusion Team, ERGs and internal stakeholders to support engagement initiatives, identify and optimize key partnerships and amplify employee voices.

Develop and implement playbooks and toolkits for partnering with educational institutions, professional associations, community organizations, and other groups to expand access to and engagement with potential candidates.

Explore and establish new partnerships and platforms to extend our reach and connect with talent across multiple networks and communities. Analyze market data and benchmarking insights to identify opportunities for improving outreach approaches and inform future talent engagement strategies.

Shape the long-term outreach vision by aligning strategies with enterprise workforce planning and broader objectives.

Advise the TA team on best practices for employer branding, outreach messaging, and sourcing strategies to position the company as an employer of choice for top talent.

Develop training material and guides for recruiters and hiring managers in engaging talent pools.

Develop storytelling approaches that showcase employee journeys, organizational culture, and our commitment to equity. Monitor outreach and engagement activities, measuring reach, impact, and outcomes.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Marketing, Education or a related field.

10 years of experience in outreach, community engagement, and recruitment initiatives, including recruitment marketing and pipeline development.

Proven experience collaborating with Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), community programs, or other partnership-driven initiatives.

Strong understanding and an ability to think creatively, innovate, and develop new strategies to engage inclusive talent pools.

Ability to build and maintain partnerships with external organizations, advocacy groups, and community organizations.

Excellent storytelling, content creation, and communication skills, with experience in managing campaigns across multiple platforms (e.g., social media, websites, blogs).

Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders.

Experience working within corporate recruiting environments and understanding of talent acquisition workflows

Knowledge of recruitment tools, technologies, platforms, and familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools to measure the success of outreach campaign.

The base pay range for this position is $93,000 - $154,000 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a performance bonus.
