Salary: $50-70K + Commission ($100K+ for top performers)

Position Overview

We are looking for a Sales Executive – Irrigation to help grow our irrigation division through both new installations and repair/upgrade opportunities. In time, the role will grow to cover lighting and drainage as well.

This is a sales-focused role, not a technical role. We've found our technicians are fantastic, but they do not want to sell. We need someone that can take a diagnostic from a technician and close with our customers, educate on why the repairs and upgrades are helpful and earn their business.

You will work closely with our irrigation technicians:

  • Technicians perform diagnostics and identify issues
  • You convert those findings into sold work

This role is ideal for someone who:

What You’ll Do
Repair & Upgrade Sales (Primary Focus)

  • Review irrigation diagnostic reports from technicians
  • Follow up with homeowners to explain issues and solutions
  • Conduct estimate reviews via:
  • On-site visits
  • Phone calls
  • Video calls
  • Build trust and clearly communicate value
  • Convert opportunities into approved work

New Installation Sales

  • Meet with homeowners for irrigation system installations
  • Assess needs and recommend system designs (training provided)
  • Create and present proposals

Sales Process & Follow-Up

  • Manage leads and opportunities in our CRM (Aspire)
  • Follow up consistently with clients
  • Track proposals, approvals, and pipeline
  • Collaborate with technicians and office team to ensure smooth handoffs

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Sales mindset — persuasive, confident, and customer-focused
  • Organized and responsive with follow-up
  • Comfortable using technology (CRM, video calls, etc.)
  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred (but not required):

  • Experience in sales (home services, construction, or similar)
  • Experience with estimate reviews or proposal-based sales
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Basic understanding of irrigation or willingness to learn quickly

We care more about your ability to sell and communicate than your technical background. We will train you on irrigation.
