Packaging Procurement Engineer

Mandatory skills: Sourcing, Costing, Packaging development, SAP.

Role: Sr Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement and Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong

relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply on time always with

required quantity and quality with proper documentation.

• Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure the

best possible deals.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all packaging materials meet the company's

quality standards and specifications.

• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and forecast future needs to

avoid shortages or overstock situations.

• Cost Management: Develop and implement cost-saving strategies without

compromising on quality.

• Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, new materials, and

innovations in packaging to keep the company competitive.

• Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies

and relevant regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Packaging. Having certification in Supply Chain

Management, Business Administration, or related field is added advantage.

• Proven experience in procurement, preferably in packaging from a toy industry.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software (SAP MM).
