Primary Title: Packaging Assistant (Packing Helper)

Industry & Sector: Logistics, warehousing and fulfilment services operating across the UAE—supporting distribution, e-commerce and FMCG supply-chain operations. This on-site role is integral to timely order fulfilment, quality assurance and safe handling within a busy packing and dispatch environment.

About The Opportunity

We are hiring an on-site Packaging Assistant to support daily packing, labelling and dispatch processes for fast-moving goods. The role is ideal for hands-on candidates who work reliably in a physically active environment, follow process and safety standards, and help maintain high throughput with low error rates.

Role & Responsibilities

• Prepare, pack and seal customer orders to specified packing lists and quality standards for local and regional dispatch.
• Label packages accurately, apply shipping documentation, and scan barcodes into inventory/warehouse systems.
• Inspect products visually for damage or defects and flag non-conforming items to supervisors.
• Maintain clean, organized packing stations and replenish packing materials (boxes, tape, fillers).
• Follow health, safety and hygiene procedures, wear PPE, and report hazards or incidents immediately.
• Work closely with warehouse and shipping teams to meet daily targets and ensure timely outbound shipments.
  
  

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• 1+ year experience in packing/warehouse/fulfilment roles or demonstrable physical work experience.
• Physical fitness to stand for long periods and lift/move packages up to 20–25 kg safely.
• Basic numeracy and ability to read packing lists, labels and simple shipping instructions.
• Attention to detail with strong focus on accuracy and damage prevention.
• Familiarity with barcode scanners or basic warehouse/inventory systems (training available).
• Good team communication skills and punctual, reliable attendance for assigned shifts.
  
  

Preferred

• Previous experience in e-commerce, FMCG or third-party logistics environments.
• Basic understanding of packing materials and protective packing techniques.
• Multilingual abilities (Arabic/English) for improved coordination with operations.
