We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Internship to support our marketing efforts. This internship is a fantastic opportunity for a student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced not for profit environment. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in digital marketing, website development, and data analysis. This is a 6-month paid internship that reports to the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management.
Key Responsibilities:
Website Development & Management:
Assist in updating and maintaining the school’s website.
Lead the creation of new website pages and landing pages using a content management system (CMS) like WordPress, Webflow, or similar platforms.
Conduct regular quality assurance checks on the website to ensure accuracy and functionality.
Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to implement new website features and optimize user experience (UX).
Google Analytics & Data Analysis:
Assist in setting up and monitoring Google Analytics goals and events.
Help track key website metrics such as traffic, bounce rate, and conversion rates.
Generate reports and provide insights on website performance to identify areas for improvement.
Assist in analyzing data to understand user behavior and inform marketing strategies.
Social Media Management:
Assist in developing and scheduling content for our social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook).
Help monitor social media channels and engage with our online community.
Assist in tracking social media performance metrics and generating reports.
Research and identify new trends and opportunities for social media growth.
General Marketing Support:
Support the marketing and admissions teams with various ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.
Assist in creating marketing materials, presentations, and reports.
Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Strong interest in digital marketing and a desire to learn.
Some experience with or knowledge of website content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Webflow, Blackbaud) is a plus.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
Understanding of SEO principles
Familiarity with Google Analytics.
Experience with Meta ads and Google Search ads is a plus.
Experience with social media platforms in a professional or academic setting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A proactive and curious mindset.
Must be creative and have a sense of humor.
