Dumpsters.com, an innovative waste management company based in Westlake, Ohio, is seeking a full-time Specialist, Paid Search in the Cleveland area with a detail-oriented mindset and a positive attitude to contribute in a meaningful way to meeting our company goals. In this role, you'll directly manage paid search campaigns that drive traffic, leads, and revenue across our portfolio of brands. From campaign setup and optimization to performance analysis and innovation, you'll have a direct hand in shaping growth at one of the fastest-growing companies in the waste industry.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience developing and activating data-centric, analytical search campaigns and driving inbound lead activity in highly competitive verticals at an effective ROI. This position reports directly to the Paid Media Manager and will work with a team of marketers, developers and creatives to tackle important tasks.

Compensation for the Specialist, Paid Search role is competitive and will be commensurate with experience.

This position is based in Westlake, OH, with hybrid flexibility.

What You'll Do


  • Build, launch, and optimize paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, including keyword research, ad copy creation, audience targeting, and budget management.

  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly pacing to ensure spend aligns with budgets and ROI targets.

  • Conduct ongoing keyword expansion and negative keyword management to improve efficiency.

  • Develop and execute structured A/B tests (ad copy, bidding strategies, landing pages) to improve CTR, Quality Score, and conversion rates.

  • Partner with Content, SEO, Creative, and Web teams to align messaging, optimize landing pages, and improve lead quality.

  • Monitor search query reports and ad placements to ensure brand safety and compliance with advertising policies.

  • Maintain and enhance tracking infrastructure (UTMs, Google Tag Manager, conversion APIs, remarketing tags).

  • Build and deliver weekly/monthly reporting dashboards with insights, trends, and actionable recommendations.

  • Collaborate with the Paid Media Manager to forecast campaign results and contribute to quarterly/annual planning.

  • Stay current on search marketing trends, AI-driven campaign automation, platform updates, and beta opportunities.

  • Cultivate relationships with platform representatives (Google/Microsoft) to gain access to insights, support, and new tools.

  • Support development and documentation of best practices for campaign management and optimizations.

  • Other duties as assigned

What We are Looking For


  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field preferred.

  • 2-3 years of hands-on paid search experience managing large budgets; Display and Paid Social a plus.

  • Proficiency with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager.

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets proficiency required).

  • Experience with conversion tracking and attribution modeling.

  • Background in HTML/CSS/JavaScript a plus, but not required.

  • Exhibits excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills

  • Effectively multi-tasks on several concurrent projects

  • Functions at a high level in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to draw conclusions and take appropriate action

  • Motivated by results and by seeing your work directly impact business outcomes

  • Accepts constructive feedback and act on it, learning from mistakes and applying lessons to future assignments

  • Executes assignments accurately and on time

  • Strong writing aptitude across a variety of tones and formats is a plus
