Job Title: Anesthesia/Pain Medical Billing Representative
Location: Golden, Colorado – Denver West Area
Position Type: Full-Time, On-Site (This is NOT a remote position)

We specialize in Anesthesia, ASC and Pain management medical billing and are committed to providing accurate and timely services to our providers. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Billing Representative to join our in-office team.

Job Description:
The Interventional Pain Medical Billing Representative is responsible for managing accounts receivable (AR), following up on unpaid claims, communicating with patients regarding balances, and researching Explanation of Benefits (EOBs). This position requires a proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, and a passion for resolving billing issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow up on outstanding anesthesia claims and accounts receivable
• Review and interpret EOBs and insurance responses
• Make outbound calls to patients regarding balances and payment options
• Research and resolve claim denials and discrepancies
• Submit corrected claims and appeals as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation within the billing system
• Collaborate with team members to meet department goals and deadlines

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of medical billing experience preferred but not required (billing experience) will train the right candidate.
• Familiarity with EOBs, claim processing, and insurance guidelines
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with billing software and Microsoft Office, 10-key, and 35 WPM preferred but not required
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical billing certification a plus
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Schedule:
Full-time, Monday through Friday
On-site only — this is not a remote position
