Job Title: Painter

Job Summary:

We are looking for skilled and reliable Painters to join our construction/maintenance team. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paints, varnishes, and other finishes to buildings, containers, or interior/exterior structures, ensuring a high-quality and durable finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching holes, and applying primer.
• Mix, match, and apply paints, varnishes, enamels, or other finishes.
• Use brushes, rollers, and spray equipment to apply paint and coatings.
• Ensure proper coverage, uniform finish, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Protect surfaces and surrounding areas with appropriate coverings and tape.
• Maintain and clean painting tools, equipment, and work area after completion.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies on-site.
• Report material needs, progress, and issues to supervisors promptly.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Painter in construction, maintenance, or similar environments.
• Knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and color mixing.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Basic understanding of safety standards and procedures.
• Attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
• Physical stamina to handle long hours of standing and manual labor.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in container or industrial painting optional.
• Familiarity with spray-painting equipment.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
