JOB TITLE

Paralegal

ROLE SUMMARY

The Paralegal is responsible for providing legal support to all legal counsels and the Corporate Affairs function within the Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment Legal team. This includes assisting with day-to-day legal tasks and documentation. The role also involves processing legal department invoices and expenses. Additionally, the Paralegal monitors payment statuses to ensure timely follow-up and completion.

ROLE PROFILE

  • Draft and review legal documents, including standard templates and less complex agreements, under the supervision of a Senior Legal Counsel.
  • Assist with legal administrative tasks, including due diligence processes, licensing applications, and preparation of legal reports and correspondence.
  • Proofread and redline legal documents for accuracy, grammar, defined terms, and formatting, ensuring consistency and correctness.
  • Coordinate closing and post-closing activities, such as preparing checklists, executing documents, and handling registrations and original document distribution.
  • Conduct factual legal research and analysis using various resources, including legal databases and internal systems.
  • Manage legal department invoicing, track expenses, liaise with external law firms, and support document submissions to government authorities as needed.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong attention to detail, ethical integrity, and a proactive attitude, with the ability to take initiative and demonstrate leadership in business practices.
  • Excellent analytical, drafting, negotiating, and communication skills, combined with flexibility, independence, motivation, and strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a paralegal role within a comparable company, with a focus on general corporate and commercial legal work; Gulf Cooperation Council regional and international experience preferred.
  • Formal legal education required, with fluency in both Arabic and English essential.
