This position requires strong communication, typing, and organizational skills. Responsibilities include direct communication with attorneys and clients, document preparation, proofing and various administrative responsibilities. Candidates must be team players, self-motivated and willing to take initiative on projects.

Successful Candidates Will Have

Prior work in a professional work environment (required)

College degree (required)

Proficient in Word/Wordperfect and Outlook (required). Must be detail oriented person

Other Required Skills

Typing, transcription, and excellent telephone skills

Prior Administrative and Legal Experience (required)

Ability to follow multi-step directions and apply prior knowledge and experience to new projects. Must be willing to learn and must have confidence to stop and ask for further direction/clarification when needed

Ability to gather and synthesize information from a variety of sources, including notes, attorney direction, client file, and asset and debt statements in order to prepare documents and forms

Organization and attention to detail when organizing files, preparing documents, filling out forms, arranging workspace, etc.

Ability to prioritize tasks and switch back-and-forth between multiple tasks as needed

Professional conduct when corresponding with clients and colleagues via telephone, email, etc.

Salary: Based on experience. Firm offers medical, dental and vision insurance, but does have a retirement plan and other benefits.

Friday afternoons off
