Part-Time Kitchen Helper (Chocolate, Pastry & Bakery)

The Part-Time Kitchen Helper supports the Chocolate, Pastry, and Bakery team in daily production and preparation activities. This role ensures the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety while assisting chefs in delivering high-quality artisanal products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of pastry, bakery, and chocolate items (measuring ingredients, basic mixing, cutting, shaping)
  • Support chocolate production tasks such as molding, wrapping, and simple finishing
  • Prepare ingredients (washing, peeling, weighing, portioning) as directed by chefs
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen, pastry, and chocolate workstations
  • Wash and sanitize utensils, trays, molds, and equipment
  • Ensure proper storage of raw materials and finished products (temperature control, labeling, FIFO)
  • Assist in product packaging, wrapping, and presentation when required
  • Refill and organize ingredients, tools, and packaging materials
  • Dispose of waste following hygiene and safety standards
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and quality control procedures

Requirements

  • Basic experience in bakery, pastry, or kitchen operations is preferred
  • Interest or passion for chocolate, pastry, and bakery production
  • Knowledge of basic food hygiene and safety standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
  • Good physical stamina and ability to handle repetitive tasks
  • Team-oriented with a positive and proactive attitude
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays

Working Conditions

  • Part-time, shift-based schedule
  • Work environment includes exposure to heat (bakery ovens) and cool areas (chocolate handling rooms)

Pay: QAR2,000.00 - QAR2,500.00 per hour
