About Us

Curley & Rothman, LLC is a Conshohocken-based law firm practicing civil litigation, real estate and transactional law, and title insurance defense. Our affiliated company, Spring Mill Settlement Services, is a settlement and title agency and an issuing agent for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company. We are a small, collaborative team where your work has a direct and visible impact.

The Role

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented part-time assistant to support both the law firm and our settlement company from our Conshohocken office. This is an in-office position (not remote) of roughly 20 hours per week, with a flexible schedule we can set together. You will work closely with our office manager and attorneys, taking on a mix of recurring administrative tasks and settlement support so the team can focus on client work. It is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, a quick learner, and comfortable juggling tasks across two related businesses.

What You Will Do

Law firm support

  • Saving and organizing documents and files (Clio and Microsoft 365 / OneDrive)
  • Data entry and file maintenance in Clio (our practice management system)
  • Electronic court filings (eFiling) across Pennsylvania counties
  • Calendaring deadlines, hearings, and appointments
  • Drafting engagement letters and other routine correspondence
  • Assisting with attorney registrations and CLE tracking
  • Helping maintain case logs and track next steps as needed

Settlement and title support (Spring Mill Settlement Services)

  • Placing title orders and assisting with file setup
  • Preparing and completing deed packages
  • Supporting recording and post-closing follow-up
  • General settlement file organization and coordination

Office and administrative support

  • Mail processing (incoming and outgoing)
  • Preparing and sending letters and service of documents
  • General clerical and administrative tasks that keep the office running smoothly

The exact mix of duties will be tailored to your strengths and the needs of the office, with room to take on more responsibility over time.

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail
  • Comfort learning new software quickly (experience with Clio, SoftPro, QuickBooks, or Microsoft 365 is a plus, but not required)
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Ability to handle confidential client and financial information with discretion
  • Reliability, follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
  • A professional, team-oriented attitude

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in a law firm, title company, or real estate office
  • Familiarity with court eFiling systems or county recording
  • Basic bookkeeping or billing experience

  • Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week; schedule flexible and set in advance
  • Compensation: Commensurate with experience

Pay: $25.41 - $30.60 per hour
