An active and professional family is looking for a loving and energetic part-time nanny for their active 2 year old. Their ideal candidate will be reliable and committed long-term, have a patient and kind demeanor, and have a strong knowledge of child development. Daily responsibilities include tackling their after-school routine, some household chores, and meal prepping during nap time, and engaging in enriching playtime when awake. The family would love someone who can support them with potty training, teaching social boundaries, and modeling emotional regulation. Although this is a part-time position, there is an opportunity for additional hours on weekends and date nights!

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and loving care for an active toddler, ensuring their safety at all times
• Engage in age-appropriate educational activities and creative play
• Prepare family meals and snacks
• Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying the baby’s areas and household chores during downtimes

Qualifications

• 3+ years proven experience as a nanny, childcare provider, or similar role
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start date)
• Preference will be given to candidates with an educational background and additional language skills
• A valid driver’s license, reliable child-friendly transportation, and a safe driving record
• Excellent communication skills and a nurturing, patient demeanor
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Knowledge of child development milestones and age-appropriate activities

*All candidates must undergo and pass a background and driving history check, no secondhand smoke and provide at least three professional childcare references (one can be a character reference if needed)

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
