Part-Time Office Assistant - Enrollment Center

The Part-Time Enrollment Center Office Assistant will answer the phone, monitor voicemails, and make Academic Advisor appointments. The part time Enrollment Center Office Assistant will cover the reception desks as needed, greeting all visitors in-person and entering them into the queuing system to be seen by the appropriate department. This position also conducts other general clerical assignments.

Provide general information about admissions, registration, financial aid, orientation, assessment, academic advising and business support to customers.

Assist with all special projects and mailings, as well as providing filing, data entry, telephone and clerical assistance for the various departments in Student Affairs.

Read and understand forms for all departments and provide proper forms to customers.

Verify completeness of forms and accompanying materials.

Compile information packets and distribute as requested.

Greet visitors and students, clarify and answer general questions, and/or enter students into queuing systems to be seen by appropriate departments.

Make appointments for academic advisors using a Salesforce platform.

Assist students with starting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Assist students with starting the application process.

Assist students with activating their MyIvy account.

Distribute general college and Enrollment Center information (e.g., program brochures/course descriptions and forms) to students.

Collect and date-stamp student forms for back office/processing support.

Function effectively in a team environment.

Maintain working knowledge of emergency/safety procedures as provided by supervisor.

Be knowledgeable of the location of the electronic and hard copy of procedures when applicable to deliver information as needed to customers.

Conduct all activities within the established guidelines of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

1-year related experience required. Associates degree in office administration preferred.

Hours Monday through Friday 11am - 3pm with flexibility to adjust hours if needed.

Hourly rate $17.00 per hour
