Our office team plays an important role in delivering excellent service by assisting customers with scheduling, billing, communication, marketing support, and day-to-day administrative needs.

About the Role

We are looking for a professional, detail-oriented, and personable team member who is confident on the phone and enjoys creating a positive customer experience.

The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, comfortable speaking with clients throughout the day, and interested in helping IntelliShred grow its online presence. This position includes administrative support, customer service, phone communication, client relationship building, and social media/marketing assistance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and route phone calls and emails in a professional and friendly manner
  • Communicate confidently and comfortably with customers by phone throughout the day
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients
  • Provide excellent customer service in every interaction
  • Accurately enter client and service details into company systems
  • Maintain customer records and office filing systems
  • Assist with scheduling, billing, and general office support
  • Support management and field staff with administrative tasks

Social Media & Marketing Support

  • Help create, design, and post social media content for company pages
  • Assist with developing engaging posts, reels, videos for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Google Business Profile
  • Create simple graphics, captions, and promotional content that reflect IntelliShred’s brand and services
  • Help highlight company services, customer reviews, promotions, recycling efforts, and community involvement
  • Monitor social media pages for messages, comments, and engagement
  • Assist with responding to basic social media inquiries in a professional manner
  • Help maintain a consistent posting schedule
  • Support marketing campaigns, customer outreach, and review requests
  • Bring creative ideas for posts, promotions, seasonal content, and customer engagement

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
  • Previous customer service, office, or phone experience preferred
  • Comfortable speaking with customers by phone as a key part of the job
  • Ability to build strong, professional relationships with clients
  • Social media experience preferred
  • Experience creating posts, graphics, captions, or basic marketing content is a plus
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile, Canva, or Constant Contact is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work well in a team environment
  • Creative, professional, dependable, friendly, and willing to learn

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
