Part-Time Receptionist

Beacon Hill has partnered with a growing financial services firm in the Chicago Loop in hiring a part-time Administrative Assistant to start immediately! This role will be Monday - Thursday from 9am - 3pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors and serve as the first point of contact for clients, guests, and vendors
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
  • Manage front desk coverage, calendars, and meeting room scheduling
  • Handle inbound and outbound mail, packages, and deliveries
  • Perform general administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and document preparation
  • Assist with email correspondence and basic follow-up communication
  • Order and maintain office supplies as needed
  • Support internal staff with ad hoc administrative projects
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area

Requirements

  • Prior experience in an administrative assistant, receptionist, or office support role preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree highly preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional, friendly, and reliable demeanor
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) or Google Workspace
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfort interacting with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Availability to work part-time during standard business hours
