Job Purpose

The Sales Consultant is responsible for managing the complete sales process — from prospecting to post-sales follow-up — in full compliance with company policies and procedures. The role involves achieving sales and product targets, assisting customers with finance and insurance options, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. By meeting and exceeding customer expectations, the Sales Consultant fosters long-term relationships, drives sales growth, and upholds the company’s reputation for excellence.


Sales / Sales Process

  • Follow all steps of the sales process: prospecting, meeting and greeting, consultation, presentation, demonstration, negotiation, gaining commitment, closure, delivery, and post-sales follow-up.
  • Ensure that all documentation complies with company policy.
  • Liaise closely with other departments to complete the sales process efficiently.
  • Report daily activities to the Sales Supervisor/Manager.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while maximising profit from each transaction.
  • Close the maximum number of opportunities while maintaining and expanding the existing customer base.
  • Assist customers with finance and insurance products according to their requirements.
  • Achieve targets for Accessories, In-house Insurance, and GAP Insurance.
  • Create effective sales process-related videos for customers and meet Venta Vid targets.
  • Meet the targets of internal and external Mystery Shopping programmes.
  • Conduct timely follow-ups with customers.
  • Participate actively in sales meetings.
  • Achieve all KPIs set by management.

Customer Experience

  • Meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Schedule follow-ups, deliveries, and new customer acquisitions through effective time management.
  • Assist customers in selecting the right vehicle and build loyalty by providing a personalised and tailored sales experience.
  • Achieve Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) targets through excellent customer service.
  • Ensure accurate collection and submission of customer information.
  • Build, develop, and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Ensure smooth, clean, and defect-free delivery of sold vehicles as promised.
  • Perform other related tasks as required.
