Pastry Assistant

The Role We are NOT looking for an Executive Pastry Chef to create new menus; we are looking for a highly organized Prep Baker/Pastry Assistant who excels at execution. Your primary responsibility will be to strictly follow our established, exact recipes for our signature cakes and desserts, ensuring that every item leaving the kitchen meets our high standard of consistency and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately measure, mix, and bake ingredients according to precise recipe specifications.
  • Prepare, bake, and finish a daily volume of cakes, cookies, and other desserts.
  • Maintain strict portion control and presentation standards—every dessert must look and taste the same every time.
  • Manage daily prep lists and prioritize baking tasks efficiently to meet cafe demands.
  • Maintain a pristine, hygienic, and organized kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Monitor ingredient inventory and notify management when supplies are running low.

Experience: at least 2 years Previous hands-on experience in a commercial kitchen, bakery, or cafe is required. Formal culinary degrees are not necessary, but practical baking experience is a must.
