Responsibilities
- Prepare and produce a wide variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
- Develop new dessert items and seasonal menus aligned with HUOM’s style.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Monitor ingredient quality and maintain proper storage procedures.
- Manage daily production schedules and organize the pastry station efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and comply with all food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist with inventory, stock control, and ordering ingredients when required.
- Train and support junior pastry staff if needed.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and dessert preparation.
- Creativity and ability to design visually appealing pastries.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Good time-management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and HACCP standards.
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
