HUOM is a growing hospitality concept committed to delivering exceptional culinary experiences. We are looking for a talented and passionate Pastry Chef to join our team and create high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked items that match our brand standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and produce a wide variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
  • Develop new dessert items and seasonal menus aligned with HUOM’s style.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
  • Monitor ingredient quality and maintain proper storage procedures.
  • Manage daily production schedules and organize the pastry station efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and comply with all food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Assist with inventory, stock control, and ordering ingredients when required.
  • Train and support junior pastry staff if needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and dessert preparation.
  • Creativity and ability to design visually appealing pastries.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Good time-management and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and HACCP standards.
  • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
