We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Chef specializing in croissants to join our team. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in preparing high-quality laminated dough and producing a variety of croissants with consistent taste, texture, and presentation. The Pastry Chef will be responsible for maintaining product quality, managing pastry preparation, and ensuring all baked goods meet the company’s standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and bake a variety of croissants including classic butter croissants, filled croissants, and specialty variations.
  • Master the process of laminated dough preparation, including mixing, folding, resting, and shaping.
  • Ensure consistent quality, taste, and appearance of all pastry products.
  • Monitor baking times, temperatures, and ingredient quality to achieve perfect croissant texture and layers.
  • Develop new croissant flavors and pastry menu items when required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen in accordance with food safety standards.
  • Manage pastry ingredient inventory and ensure proper storage of raw materials.
  • Train and supervise junior pastry staff or assistants when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Croissant Specialist in a bakery, café, hotel, or restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of laminated dough techniques and croissant production.
  • Ability to produce large batches while maintaining quality and consistency.
  • Knowledge of baking equipment and pastry kitchen operations.
  • Creativity in developing new pastry products.
  • Good time management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Culinary or pastry certification is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
