Patent Associate - IP

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Preparing IP opinions (patentability, FTO, invalidity)
• Providing insightful analysis of search results from various sources
• Keep an eye on technology, competition and geography through patent watches and disseminating the insights from patent watches to R&D and Business Drafting patent specifications
• Drafting and handling response to office actions in India and overseas and all other compliance requirements as per the applicable patent law.
• Assisting in patent oppositions and providing technical support to the enforcement activities through research and analysis of recent cases etc.
• Applying & obtaining design registrations in India

Desired skills & Experience:

a)In-depth knowledge in preparing and prosecuting patent applications spanning between 4-6 years in R&D/law firm set up.

b)Patent Agent Registration with the Indian Patent Office

c)Excellent command over the English language (written & verbal)
