Patent Attorney

Location: Pitampura, Delhi
Experience: 2+ years

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, file, and prosecute patent applications (provisional, complete, PCT, national phase).
• Conduct patentability, novelty, freedom-to-operate (FTO), and infringement searches.
• Handle patent examination reports, office actions, and responses before the Indian Patent Office and foreign patent offices.
• Advise clients on patent strategy, filing jurisdictions, timelines, and risks.
• Coordinate with inventors, R&D teams, and international associates.
• Assist in patent portfolio management and maintenance (renewals, annuities).
• Support patent opposition, revocation, and litigation-related matters, if required.
• Ensure compliance with applicable IP laws and regulations.
• Stay updated with changes in patent laws, rules, and practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Technology (relevant domain).
• Qualified Patent Agent registered with the Indian Patent Office (mandatory).
• Law degree (LLB) preferred for Patent Attorney role.
• Strong understanding of Indian Patent Act and international patent procedures.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
