Trademark Associate / Trademark Lawyer

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct trademark searches, filings, and prosecutions before the Indian Trademark Registry.
• Draft and file oppositions, counter-statements, rectifications, and other related pleadings.
• Prepare legal submissions, evidence, and written arguments for trademark matters.
• Handle renewal, assignment, and portfolio management of trademarks.
• Liaise with clients, IP offices, and external counsels for case updates and clarifications.
• Provide legal opinions and strategic advice on brand protection and infringement issues.
• Support litigation and enforcement matters related to intellectual property.

Requirements:

• Law degree (LLB) from a recognized institution; additional qualification in IP law is a plus.
• 1–3 years (or more) experience in trademark prosecution, opposition, portfolio management.
• Candidate must have good research skills along with great communication and writing capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable using MS Office, email, internet.
• Prior registration as a Trademark Agent / Attorney is preferred.
