Job Purpose:
The Patient Care & Admin Coordinator will provide support in patient health monitoring (blood pressure, diabetes, weight management, and other basic checks) while also managing administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations of the healthcare facility. This role bridges the gap between medical support and administrative management, ensuring patients receive quality care in an organized and efficient manner.Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care Support

  • Assist the doctor in basic patient assessments (BP, blood sugar checks, weight, etc.).
  • Maintain patient health records accurately and confidentially.
  • Guide patients on appointment schedules, follow-ups, and basic lifestyle management advice as directed by the doctor.
  • Ensure a welcoming and supportive environment for patients.

Administrative Duties

  • Manage appointment scheduling, patient registration, and record-keeping.
  • Maintain medical supplies inventory and ensure timely procurement.
  • Prepare daily/weekly reports on patient visits and services provided.
  • Handle correspondence, documentation, and filing related to clinic operations.
  • Coordinate with program management for reporting, meetings, and community outreach activities.

Operational Support

  • Facilitate smooth communication between patients, doctors, and staff.
  • Support awareness and health education activities organized by the Citizen Society.
  • Ensure compliance with clinic policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, healthcare, or administration (preferred).
  • Experience in healthcare support or administrative roles (desirable).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of patient care, health monitoring devices, and record-keeping.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic data management.
  • Empathy, patience, and the ability to interact effectively with patients and community members.
