The ideal candidate will be professional in appearance as well, the ability to conduct themselves to patients and co workers professionally.
Current responsibilities would include (but not limited to) answering a multi line phone system, scheduling appointments, assisting patients with medical records requests, checking patients in and out from appointments while verifying and correcting necessary insurance/demographic information, collecting balances or co-pays. Ability to read an insurance card, working portal messages from patients, good people skills are all requirements for the ideal candidate.
This position is full time, consisting of approximately 36 hours work per week, hours are 8am-5pm with an AM or PM off per week (at employers discretion). Candidate would be required to come in as early as 7:30am or stay until 5:30pm as rotation with other staff occurs. High School diploma required as well as computer knowledge and customer service skills. Experience with Athena practice management system as well as physician office experience a plus. Having dependable transportation would be required as working at both our Chapel Hill and Southpoint locations would be work required.
