As part of our expansion, we are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Accountant to join our finance team and ensure accurate, timely payroll management.

Role Overview

The Payroll Accountant will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring compliance with Qatari labor laws, and maintaining accurate employee compensation records. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with HR and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain payroll records, including salaries, benefits, and deductions.
• Ensure compliance with Qatari labor laws and company policies.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare related financial reports.
• Collaborate with HR to manage employee data and resolve payroll issues.
• Handle end-of-service benefits, gratuities, and other statutory requirements.
• Assist with audits and provide payroll-related documentation.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in payroll accounting or HR finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes and Qatari labor regulations.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and payroll software.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
