Job Description1. Payroll Processing & Data Management
- Assist in preparing monthly payroll for all employees accurately and within deadlines.
- Collect and verify attendance, overtime, leave, shift schedules, and deductions.
- Enter and update employee earnings, benefits, arrears, adjustments, and deductions in the payroll system.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure accuracy of employee data at all times.
2. Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure payroll processing aligns with company policies, statutory laws, and audit requirements.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to EOBI, ESSI, income tax, advances, and loans.
- Assist in preparing tax-related payroll computations and employee tax deductions.
- Maintain confidential payroll files and support internal/external audits.
3. Employee Support & Queries
- Address payroll-related queries from employees professionally and accurately.
- Provide support regarding salary slips, tax certificates, deductions, overtime calculations, and leave balances.
- Coordinate with HR regarding new joiners, resignations, increments, and contract updates.
4. Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare reports on payroll summaries, overtime, attendance, and monthly reconciliation statements.
- Support Manager Tax & Payroll in monthly, quarterly, and yearly payroll reporting.
- Coordinate with Finance for salary disbursement, bank uploads, and payroll-related financial entries.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in payroll, HR operations, or accounts (manufacturing preferred).
- Strong command of MS Excel and payroll formulas.
- Understanding of attendance systems, overtime rules, tax laws, EOBI, and ESSI (preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality, and data-handling accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
