Payroll Officer

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

  • Payroll Processing
  • Accurately calculate salaries, overtime, bonuses, and deductions
  • Data Management
  • Maintain confidential employee payroll records and documentation

Employee Support

  • Respond to employee queries regarding salary, deductions, and leave balances
  • Coordinate with HR for leave, attendance, and disciplinary adjustments
  • Assist in resolving payroll discrepancies and disputes

System & Tool Usage

  • Operate payroll software such as FactsHCM, Workplus, SAP, or Zoho People
  • Generate payroll reports for finance and HR departments
  • Support integration between HRMS and accounting platforms
  • Reconcile payroll data with HRMS and accounting systems
  • Audit payroll transactions to prevent errors and fraud

Compliance & Legal

  • Ensure payroll practices align with UAE Labor Law and company policies
  • Handle End-of-Service (EOS) gratuity calculations and final settlements
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in labor regulations and tax laws
  • Ensure timely disbursement of monthly payroll via Wage Protection System (WPS)
  • Prepare and submit Salary Information Files (SIF) to banks and government portals
  • Leave & Attendance Integration
  • Sync leave records with payroll to ensure accurate deductions or payouts

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports
  • Analyze payroll trends and flag anomalies
  • Support budgeting and forecasting for salary expenses
  • Monitor absenteeism and unpaid leave for payroll impact
  • Collaborate with HR to validate attendance data

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Masters degree in HR or Related
  • 2–4 years of Payroll Experience
  • Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and handle confidential information with discretion
