Key Responsibilities:
- Process monthly payroll for all employees in an accurate and timely manner.
- Collect, verify, and input employee attendance, overtime, leave, and other payroll-related data.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure up-to-date employee information in the payroll system.
- Calculate and process statutory deductions (e.g., GOSI, WPS, gratuity, income tax, social security, etc., as applicable).
- Prepare and distribute payslips to employees.
- Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies or issues.
- Coordinate with HR and Finance teams on employee onboarding, offboarding, and salary changes.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax rules, and company policies.
- Generate payroll reports for management and auditing purposes.
- Assist with annual audits and provide payroll documentation as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Officer, Payroll Administrator, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, labor law, and statutory requirements in [insert country/UAE/GCC].
- Proficient in payroll software and MS Excel.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
- Experience with WPS (Wage Protection System) and HRMS/payroll software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Zoho People, etc.).
- Knowledge of end-of-service calculations and benefits processing (for GCC/UAE roles).
