About the Role
Seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end New Zealand payroll processing for multiple properties, ensuring accuracy, compliance with Inland Revenue regulations, and timely filing
The role involves handling employee lifecycle payroll, statutory entitlements, benefits, and reconciliation, with a strong focus on confidentiality, detail, and adherence to New Zealand tax and leave laws.
Profiles with proven experience in payroll processing (preferably New Zealand, if not then in Australia or UK payrolls) will be preferred
KRAs
Payroll Processing
· Process payroll accurately and on schedule for all properties and entities, both fortnightly and monthly.
· Ensure all salary components, deductions, benefits, and adjustments are correctly accounted for.
· Oversee accurate calculation and allocation of holiday pay, sick leave, and other statutory entitlements.
· Administer leave balances and entitlements, including annual leave, holiday pay, and any additional benefits as per New Zealand law and company policy.
· Post Payroll allocation entries in the Accounting System.
· Strictly adhere to the established deadlines for processing, approval and payments
Employee Lifecycle Management
· Support the onboarding process and exit processes of starters and leavers
· Manage payroll aspects of internal movements across the group properties.
· Administer the HR Policy compliance for the new staff
· Maintain up-to-date leave records.
· Provide timely responses to employee queries and data requests
· Help complete the exit formalities with timely and accurate completion of documentation
Integrity And Confidentiality
· Maintain high data accuracy standards and ensure the confidentiality of employee information.
· Ensure that the data integrity is maintained and data is shared only with authorized personal and on a need-to-know basis
Audit & Compliance
· Stay updated on New Zealand Inland Revenue regulations and ensure payroll processing is compliant.
· Prepare and file necessary reports and documentation for New Zealand tax authorities, including PAYE and KiwiSaver contributions
· Assist in internal and external payroll audits, ensuring records are accurate and accessible.
Candidate Requirements
Required technical skill:
· Proven experience in international payroll processing (preferably New Zealand, if not then Australia, UK payrolls
· Strong knowledge of Inland Revenue compliance, tax requirements, holiday pay, and statutory entitlements. Understanding of statutory filing
· Preferably experience in managing payroll for multiple entities.
· Familiarity with payroll software (please specify if known or preferred).
· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy of data.
· Good communication skills to liaise with employees and stakeholders

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹650,000.00 per year
