Payroll Specialist

iSchool is a pioneering EdTech company that focuses on providing innovative coding and artificial intelligence lessons to students aged 6 to 18. We are currently seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you'll be responsible for processing payroll accurately and timely, managing employee payroll records, and ensuring compliance with applicable payroll laws and regulations.

Your role will also involve collaborating with HR to handle payroll-related inquiries and supporting the overall payroll function for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process monthly payroll accurately and on time.
• Maintain employee attendance records, leaves, and overtime.
• Ensure payroll compliance with Egyptian labor laws and tax regulations.
• Calculate deductions, taxes, and social insurance according to governmental guidelines.
• Assist in preparing payroll reports and documentation.
• Update employee information and salary changes in the system.
• Review and verify supporting documents related to payroll.
• Coordinate with HR and Finance teams for payroll-related matters.
• Continuously learn and stay updated on tax regulations from official government sources.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in payroll or salary operations (experience in salaries is a must).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Good understanding of payroll processes and basic HR policies.
• Willingness to learn and grow professionally.
• Passionate, responsible, and detail-oriented personality.
• Basic knowledge of Egyptian taxes or readiness to learn quickly.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
